• 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add the warm water and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 8 equal pieces.
  7. Roll each piece into a ball, and then flatten it into a disc shape.
  8. Place the discs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top of each one.
  9. Bake the bread for 15-20 minutes, or until it has turned golden brown.
  10. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool before serving.
